THE FRUITS OF SUMMER
A MAGIC TRIO
Three, it’s the magic number. OTP is a special series of sours, with each batch combining a trio of unusual ingredients based on the perfect principle of three elements. In this batch, Garage Project has blended guava, coconut, and makrut lime to create a beer bursting with juicy, sour, tropical flavours. Omne Trium Perfectum, no more no less – for some reason, things just work better in threes.
CELEBRATORY SIPS
Leave the bottle-opener at home with LF Seltzer’s botanical twist on a much-loved tipple. These ready-to-drink wine-based seltzers take award-winning New Zealand Leftfield wines and infuse a dash of free-spirited freshness in a Kiwi first, launching just in time for summer. Fancy with a side of fun, LF Seltzer is for those who want some balance with their bevvy, with just 68 calories and less than one gram of sugar per serve.
PLUSH PALATE
Fragrant, enticing, floral. Perfumed with aromas of roses, apple blossoms, white-fleshed fruits, and lavender. Overall soft, fruity, fleshy, and plush. On the palate – a core of fruit leads with an off-dry style revealed; contrasting acidity, texture, and spices with some warming alcohol. This is a delicious wine full of spice, fruit, texture, and charm, finishing with a light, sweet white rose taste. Review by Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier.
CHRISTMAS FURKEY
Grater Goods have the perfect plant-based solution for Christmas – its Roast ‘Furkey’ is a stuffed seitan roast, with a crispy yuba skin and a maple glaze. You can pick up your very own Furkey (faux turkey, if you’ve not clicked) from selected New World supermarkets, or pop in to Grater Goods Deli on Orbell St, Sydenham. Speaking of Christmas, why not book a vegan function on site for your end of year drinks? Time it right and catch some live music and great company.
