Jack Frost has definitely taken a trip to Canterbury and left his mark. The onset of shorter days and colder nights brings even more reason to be cosied up in a theatre with a mulled wine or even donning your winter jacket on the bus to work, listening to a great podcast or song. This month, I’ve taken the liberty to compile some options to keep you toastie from the inside-out, stoking the coals of your funny bone.

Once again, we’ve got a hefty month of culture ahead, with some international acts and many locals hitting the boards. Acclaimed comedian, musician, actor, writer, and composer Tim Minchin is playing at the Christchurch Town Hall on 25 June, and Aotearoa’s own, Teeks, will serenade audiences at the Theatre Royal on 18 June. Grab your brolly and binoculars; the stage awaits!
