Recipe: Sakura Lokum
Zodiac’s Nick makes the Sakura Lokum, a Japanese Far East meets Turkish Middle East play on Turkish Delight.
Ingredients
- 30 mls Roku Cherry Blossom Gin
- 30 mls Kokoro Cherry Blossom Liqueur
- 15 mls rose water
- Icing/confectioners sugar for rim
- Lime wedge
Method
- Chill a tumbler glass in the fridge, then apply a rim of lime juice from the fresh wedge, extending an inch down the outside of the glass.
- Combine the Roku Gin, cherry blossom liqueur and rose water in a mixing jug, add ice, and stir down.
- Add a single large ice rock to the tumbler and strain the cocktail into the glass.
- Garnish with fresh (Cherry) blossom; the finished cocktail is served.
