Salted summer dream
Zodiac’s bartender Arnie has whipped up a taste of summer. His Salted Summer Dream is an ode to the South Island’s best summer fruit: nectarines and black Doris plums. Using a slated plum gin as a base with nectarine juice and peach syrup, and topped with a Doris plum cream, this is refreshing, perfect for drinks on the deck, soaking up the late afternoon sun.
Ingredients
60ml Salted plum gin
60ml Nectarine juice
30ml Lemon juice
20ml Peach Syrup
Top up with Salted Plum Cream.
Method
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Top with salted plum cream. Garnish with edible flowers.
