Yuzu margarita

Take a margarita, but make it Asian! Zodiac’s Nick is making the most of Zodiac’s latest shipment of fresh yuzu. This Japanese citrus – like a combination of mandarin and lime – makes a fresh and vibrant margarita. Here, Nick replaces agave with yuzu syrup and lime juice with freshly squeezed yuzu.


- 30 mls Tequila Blanco

- 30 mls Plum Sake / Plum Wine

- 30 mls of Yuzu Juice

- 10 mls Rice Syrup

Rim a tumbler glass with yuzu juice and flaky sea salt. Add all cocktail components to a shaker and stir the rice syrup to incorporate it. Add enough ice to the shaker so that when “shaking and dumping” the drink into the glass, the whole mixture will fill the glass just below the rim, leaving the salt untouched. Garnish with a leafed Yuzu top or standard lime wheel.
