Rum Through The Mull
Bitter cocktail lovers rejoice: Nick from Zodiac has crafted a South American style ‘quick-mulled’ bitter wine cocktail – Rum Through the Mull – using Cointreau, Merlot Cabernet, Diplomatico Rum, and nectarine juice. With a whole shot of Angostura Bitters; this is not for the faint of heart. It’s like a Negroni but heartier!
- 30 mls Angostura Bitters
- 30 mls Red Wine (Pegasus Bay Merlot Cabernet in this case)
- 15 mls Diplomatico Rum
- 15 mls Cointreau
- 60 mls Eden Orchards 100% Nectarine Juice
- 10 mls Fresh Lime Juice
- 10 mls Fresh Lemon Juice
- 15 mls Sugar Syrup
Combine all components in an iced cocktail shaker tin. Shake vigorously and dump all contents into a wine glass. Garnish with dehydrated Orange Wheel and whole Cinnamon Stick to garnish.
